Bzone hits Ariapita Avenue
The bustling "hip strip" known as Ariapita Avenue has become T&T's latest and largest Wi-Fi zone. In a release, bmobile said recently completed work on Ariapita Avenue to transform it into the newest "bzone"—expansive Wi-Fi Hotspot zone. The Wi-Fi launch event took place at the Crobar last Friday evening, with a combination of energy and culture complete with electronic bull riding, vibrant dancers, fire-breathers, and tassa drummers. Patrons were also given the opportunity to put the bzone to the test with streaming video and to "capture the bzone moment" in which they had their photo taken at Crobar, tagged, and immediately uploaded to Facebook. The Ariapita Avenue bzone, extending from French Street to the Princess Elizabeth Home, is almost one mile of 24/7, free (for Blink/bmobile customers), fast, Wi-Fi access.
