It's been seven years, but Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller are FINALLY gearing up for a sequel to the 2005 hit, Sin City.

In a recent interview, the director revealed that financial difficulties from the Weinstein Company and scheduling conflicts have been delaying the movie that has been in the works for years. Fortunately for the fans of the movie, he plans on shooting Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For immediately after he films the sequel to Machete. Here is what he said about his upcoming production:

"We still have to cast. I'm shooting Machete next month, and we go right into Sin City. It might overlap, but we haven't done any casting yet, except for the people who we know are already in it and returning. A Dame to Kill For all those people come back. I just had lunch with Mickey [Rourke] this weekend. He's all excited to come back, but he's probably the first one. I saw Rosario [Dawson] too. I ran into her for something else, and she's pumped. They've always been excited about doing another one, so that will be fun."

So it sounds like Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson are in for the sequel, which is based off of the second story in the graphic novel series, but what about a certain A-list actress who is finally marrying her A-list boyfriend?

The director says he was "meeting with Angelina Jolie and people to do it" back in 2007 before the project went cold. However, he has yet to resume negotiations for Jolie to appear, as he continued:

"I haven't even gotten to meet with her yet about it or discuss with Frank about who we would want to go with or talk to first. That's a fun process, but that probably won't happen in the next month."

What better way to celebrate her engagement to Brad Pitt than starring as a femme fatale in the sequel to one of the most stylistic action movies ever made? We've seen the kind of damage Angelina can do as an action star, so we'd love to see her in A Dame To Kill For! What about U?
