Lil Saint – New School Scholar
Introducing Lil' Saint
Akeem Williams (Lil Saint) was born in the borough of Arima on the 13th April, 1992 and was raised
on a healthy diet of Michael Jackson and Soca. This fusion of music would later help Saint when at the
age of ten he began writing Soca and eventually progressed to Hip Hop music. More recently Saint has
been influenced by the Notorious BIG, Tupac, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Nas and KRS 1. Lil Saint is currently
Managed by Mario Baird. Lil Saint has performed at Hip Hop Mania (2009), I Am Hip Hop 4 (2009)
and twice as part of the Highway Records / Red Bull Street Tour (2008 & 2009), Chromatics 300 event
(2013). Lil Saint incorporates dance into his performances and always leaves audiences in awe. He's a
very talented and driven young artist Aside from talent, Mario Baird states that Saint displays a level of
maturity, discipline and willingness to learn often overlooked by the more seasoned artist. From the
first time I heard this young individual sang all I could of think about is, 'why is he in T&T”. I love my
T&T however, we are still not ethnically and culturally mature enough to appreciate what this
youngster has to deliver.
"Music has been one of the greatest things in his life". "It is something that has kept him positive
throughout and he wants the world to dance to his music" states Mario Baird. Lil Saint is currently
working on a few projects for Highway Records and his Mixtape to to be released in 2014. Lil Saint
has now allowing himself into becoming a True Entertainer not just doing music for himself but writing
music for prominent Local Artists. Lil Saint has hit Tracks out now such as Boss Chick, Ladies in the
Club, and the recent single We Blown which is currently Doing well at popular radio stations at
Cayman Islands. Future collaborations with artists from Dominica Republic an a monster single in the
mix, Lil Saint is gearing up for the world to dance to his music.
