My Team Events hosts themed team event concepts. Their main goal is to create fun lasting memories by hosting events with a local twist that enable camaraderie and strengthen the bonds of friendship. They are now in the process of hosting its first ever charitable event 4giving!

More than that, the company is seeking to assist persons in need through this 4giving initiative by hosting a charitable event tri-annually. The initiative seeks to foster and embed a spirit of charity, not just during the Christmas season but year round. Kenyon Champion, Event Coordinator and owner of My Team Events stated that "Despite being a small business, we saw it fit to take up the Corporate Social Responsibility mantle and to something to positively impact and help the less fortunate."

The 4giving event is a Donation Drive where the public is encouraged to give contributions in 4 areas. They are canned foods, toys/books, clothing and time (volunteer hours). The items collected will then be given to 4 charities/NGO's which include Is There Not A Cause (ITNAC), Kids in Need of Direction (KIND), the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society and the Volunteer Center of Trinidad and Tobago.

The event will be held on Saturday 24th November, 2012 at the National Library, Abercromby Street, Port of Spain from 9:00am to 4:00pm. It will also include fun games, activities, music and entertainment. Donors will also get a chance to interact with the Charities/NGO's who will be the recipients of the contributions. 

"We believe in the philosophy that when you give it will come back to you. No donation is too small, so we encourage everyone to look within their hearts and give what they can." Mr. Champion said.
