Tobago Musical Team Secures Distribution Deal With International Distribution Powerhouse
Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. October 22, 2012--------Things are definitely looking up for a musical troop out
of Tobago who've secured a distribution deal for a riddim they're on. The riddim is called 'The Seduction
riddim' and was produced by Angel Music and JSIM Promotions in Tobago. The artistes whose music has
obviously made renowned distribution company, Promo Only take notice, comes from radio personality
Cederick Goodrich better known by his sobriquet- Angel Journey and budding artistes, KKay Joseph,
NevaLegal and vocalist, Thea.
This isn't the first time these artistes have worked together and with such a successful outcome this time
around, they assure that it will not be their last. Promo Only's reach is far and wide, having radio and DJ
connections in Japan, Europe and the US. For these Caribbean musicians, the opportunity to be presented
via this distribution channel is an incredible one that is not being taken lightly.
The singles on the riddim are So Hott by Angel Journey and Handle It by KKay, NevaLegal and Thea.
D Angel Journey has set very high standards in the Caribbean entertainment arena over the years, having
perfected both his on air sound as a radio presenter and certainly fine tuning his vocals for which he is able
to deliver a truly enjoyed sound. His most recent musical release, prior to So Hott was a track called Girls
Garden. In Tobago, the DJ's and radio personalities on the small island's two frequencies, have been raising
awareness for the new riddim and according to KKay, the riddim is actually the biggest sound hitting the
airwaves on the island at this time. He said NevaLegal and Thea were both recruited to be a part of the
riddim in an effort to expose the young talent out of Tobago. " They are really talented and this was just our
way of bringing them to the forefront," said KKay.
With a passion for marketing, KKay has continued to keep his ear plugged in to online sources where
international strategies being used for music distribution and promotion by record companies and music
executives, have been useful for him. In fact, this was how he channeled his energy into getting his previous
hits like Wuk Up and Thinking About You, distributed by Promo Only. Now, together with a few other
talented Tobago musicians, KKay continues to do just what he has to, to bring international focus to the
island of Tobago.
