In 2012, JahLight Records brings to you the critical new Reggae album called the ‘Final Chapter Riddim’. JahLight Records’ CEO explains: ‘This project marks a turning point in the musical direction of the label. We have finished one chapter on our journey and we now open another. We have completed one course and now we are about to move into another, which is better than the first. We endeavour to create music that is not just regular or average but rather music with a more spiritual, hence more powerful message. Many people are ignorant of the Word of God, following their own ways, hoping that it can save them. Some people do not read the word but they listen to music. So henceforth, we are going to use music even more as that vehicle to carry not just good words but the actual written word of God to the world with the intent to edify, educate and bring about more truth. We live in the last days in the book of Revelation; in what I will call the ‘Final Chapter’. So we have to stay armed with the word of God; the full armour, to fight the wickedness of this world. Any other way will fail’.
JahLight Records is a music label based in the island of Trinidad. The production stable is known for various musical works such as most importantly, 2011’s massive PassOver Riddim, which featured International recording artists, Queen Omega, Fyakin, Wild Life, Dainjamental and more. Already gathering interest worldwide, JahLight Records is intent on keeping the paste and staying the ground, with a determination to rise above the odds and let their light shine through their hard work, dedication and a consistent message of love and righteousness.
