 DJ'S - A Way Of Life!

 Hello again Pellau Fans!!!
Its me again! OK well every week I try new ways of attracting readers,  and in the coming weeks I'm going to show you how different fields of entertainment use technology to work, play and entertain!

This week I got to interview  local DJ/Producer owner of UZI BEATS:
Amado Dwayne Santana and UP-coming new DJ Che'-Deem Beharry A.K.A "BIRD-MAN"

 We did this interview through Social Media to promote this mass media:

ME:
#1: " OK well let's get started, what made you interested in this field of "entertainment"? Some DJ's say this is a way of life, but how exactly did u become who you are,
And how did this all happen?"

Amado:  # 1 "Well It All Started When I Was Around 12 Listening To Radio ,96.1 FM almost everyday Trying To Figure Out How did they make the Beats To The Songs Being Aired From Rap to Dance hall.When I Entered Secondary School,Form 1 ,I was Introduced To Virtual DJ from a good friend so i started messing around with it for a while until form 3 when i found the beat making software ,Fruity Loops aka FL Studio .In School At That time my crew,Team Infamous, use to rap and beat on the desktops To Make Beats.For About 1 year I learned its full potential and now making beats is simple and my team is upcoming getting their music aired on NEXT 99.1FM On THE GRIND Thanks To Chromatics.We Came A Long Way From Beating On Table Tops To Radio."

 ME:
#2: "how has technology helped you from where you started to where you are to make your beats, and to use the media to get your name / beats out to the public?"

Amado:

#2 "Technology Made it Extremely easy to make beats as before back in the day to make music you needed ton loads of hardware be it syncs ,mixing consoles,compressors etc.Now the beat making process can all be done virtually with drums and syncs all in plugin formats (VSTs) with in FL studio.All You Need Now Basically Is A PC and the Internet To Get Yourself out there cause a lot of websites make it easy for your work to be played and shared ,biggest being Sound Click and Sound Cloud.If Your Music Is good You can Build A Fan Base and the Internet Is The Best Way To Communicate with them be it Facebook and Twitter.So Technology would diffidently be a Plus as a Producer."

#3: ME:
"as you may know this is a PC / TECH article ,LOL, so let's hear , have you ever used any PC programs to help make your beats etc? What are they and how have they helped?

 Amado:
#3 "There Are a couple beat making programs out there like Reason,Cubase,Pro Tools,Sonar And Logic.I mostly use FL Studio 9 despite it is not highly Rated As Logic Pro for Apple Computers.Fl Studio Makes The Process Easier As It Combines All The VSTs and Readily Makes Them Available For Sequencing and Mixing etc.Fl Studio Is Great For Beat Making And Vocal Recording But Some Prefer Pro Tools for Vocal Recording.Its All About What You Can Work Best With Because you can have the world of gear but if you can not use it properly its a waste of money.Its All About Resourcing right now because super producers like Jahlil Beats and Lex Luger only use a Fl Studio And A PC."

ME:
 #4 " OK so you've created a movement, what's next for you guys?"

Amado:
 #4 "Well We Plan On Making Music Dropping A Album In 2014 Entitled BRAIN DEAD and a few mix tapes along the line as of 2012.As Far as what Team Infamous Is Doing Right Now Is Basically Building a Fan Base Soon to be Making Music Videos and such."

 ME:
#5 "well what's your views on OS? Windows MAC Or Linux?"

Amado:
"#5 Windows Is a Great OS! I'm A Windows User And Windows Can Perform Greatly Once You Have A High Specs Machine. In My Line I Use Windows For Music because FL Studio Is Windows Based But On The Other Hand MAC,The PC Powerhouse,is Excellent in Media Overall Be it Music,Video and Photo Editing .I'm Looking To Invest In a Mac In The Future Though."

 ME:
#6 "how has the changed Hip-hop/Rap helped? I mean Young Money has made their music to be "Club oriented" some people (including me) think this is not the "real rap" although this music cud be the new evolution of rap and hip-hop it has been know the new music really helps DJ's make up their Remixes and Beats!!!

Amado:
#6 "Well Music definitely changed has changed not in Rap only but in every other genre.It Certainly brought some new Beats eg: Trap Music ,now is the most common rap beats used by Rick Ross,Wale,Meek Mill ,2 Chainz,Big Sean,Lil Wayne,Wiz Khailfa and Almost Any other rapper.Trap Music Was Made popular by Lex Luger with Waka Flocka Flame's song 'Hard In The Paint' Then Rick Ross 'BMF'.Then Jahlil Beats Came Following after then Cardiak who produced most of MMG Music Thus Far.All These beats were created on FL Studio.It Gave A new Hype To The Music."

ME:
#7 "Beats, Skullcandy or Sinthicser? I did a article about Beats vs Skullcandy but Sinthicser is like dominating them what do you think?"

Amado:
#7 "Amm For Me Beats By Dre Any day even though Beats Headphones are more becoming a lifestyle rather than a headphones for just listening to music.People now buy a Beats to say hey i have a Beats.I Have Owned The Beats: Studios,Mixr,Pro And Tour Headphones And I Must Say They Sound Great BUT there Are better Headphones Out For A cheaper price.We Basically buy the Brand because They Are not Studio Referenced so they can mix tracks properly when making beats.Headphones like Audio Technica,KRK,SMS By 50 and Sennheiser are great and cheaper but because of trending Beats By Dre will Always Sell More."

 ME:
"#8 YOS is having their Party next year for carnival are you there? Lol!

Amado: " #8 if the party was in south 100000% yes but the north thing would kill me off with transportation but other wise ill try my best "

NEXT STOP!!!! NEWBIES

 DJ Che'-Deem Beharry A.K.A "BIRD-MAN"

ME:
#1 "Why did you get into DJ/Making Beats?"

 "RED-BIRD": : "I got into DJ-ing and beat making because of the love of the music and also because i wanted to become famous like most of my favorite artist like Deadmau5 and Skrillex.
I also wanted to change  people's views on Electronic Dance Music (E.D.M.) in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean.

ME:
#2 " What TECH/PC Programs do you use for your beats??

 "RED-BIRD":
"The programs I use for DJ-ing is Virtual DJ. The programs I use for beat making are FL studio 9 & 10 and Wave-pad Sound Editor."

ME:
#3 Whats next for your "art"??? Are you going to join a group or do your own thing?

 "RED-BIRD":
"Well, I am having thoughts on going to do my own thing. I would benefit and profit more if I start my own thing. but i would also like to collaborate with other DJs, singers and rappers."

ME:
#4 "whats your view on rap/hip-hop?? is it going downwards or is it just going up?? does kings of rap like Eminem still have a place???

 "RED-BIRD":
 "Well, honestly I think rap/hip-hop music is going downhill!!! and the era of E.D.M is taking over!!
BUT, there is still place for the rappers,like Eminem, in the E.D.M. genre. Like how David Guetta does songs with rap artist like Lil' Wayne and Ludacris. So YES, i would say there is still place for rappers."

ME:
#5 "whats your favorite song by which artist that could be re-mixed by YOURSELF?

 "RED-BIRD":
"One of the songs that I really would love the re-mix is Levels by Avicii!
there are so many different ways you can re-mix that particular song. that's why i love to remix it."

ME:
#6 "Beats Skullcandy or Sinthicser? I did a article about Beats vs Skullcandy but Sinthicser is like dominating them what do you think?"

"RED-BIRD":
"Well, as we all know of the hype between "Beats by Dr. Dre" and "Skullcandy". Everyone thinks that they are the ONLY two good quality headset brands. BUT honestly i think Sinthicser is a really good quality headset for a reasonable price! Sinthicser can compete in the hype with the other two leading headset brands."
So YES, i can say it is dominating.

THE END????
