People practically trade with everything and there are numerous strange and interesting profitable businesses in the industry. It may be a surprise for you to learn that selling blood is really profitable as traders and distributors make about $4.5 billion dollars every year.

Ben Bowman and David Mitchell went into the blood selling business after they found out that about 1.3 million pints of donated blood is thrown away every year. They explain the American Red Cross controls nearly 44% of the blood supply in the country and has the right to distribute this precious biological material throughout the USA. However, Bowman and Mitchell established their own company named General Blood and got it certified by the responsible authorities.
