My Team Events invites you to experience Carnival Hunters, a first-time event targeted toward the many stakeholders involved in ‘The Greatest Show on Earth'. It is intended to be a fun, enjoyable, health-conscious, team building experience, all with the aim of raising funds for charity.
This unique and exciting event encompasses a Scavenger Hunt, Health and Wellness Expo and a Cultural Festival.
Scavenger Hunt
Teams in two categories will solve clues, complete tasks and conquer an obstacle course around the Queen’s Park Savannah.
Carnival Team Category:
Open to teams of five (5) members and can be of any makeup (mixed, all male or all female)
Target Participants- Mas Bands, Music Bands (Soca/Chutney), Steelbands, J’ouvert Bands, Fete/Event Producers and Radio Stations
Registration fee- $2,000.00 (includes lunch, snacks and refreshments for your 5 member team and 5 complimentary passes for team supporters)
Prizes- Up to $20,000.00 in cash for the winning team to donate to the charity/charities of their choosing, trophies and bragging rights!
Participation medals for each competitor
There is also an 'Ole Mas' Competition from 11:30am-12:30pm for teams to participate in
Open Team Category:
Open to teams of five (5) members and can be of any makeup (mixed, all male or all female)
Target Participants- Masqueraders, Fitness Enthusiasts, Companies, University Students, Youth/Interest Groups, Sports/Cultural Clubs, NGO’s and the General Public
Registration fee- $1,000.00 (includes lunch, snacks and refreshments for your 5 member team)
Prizes- $10,000.00 in cash for the winning team, trophies and bragging rights!

The Scavenger Hunt starts promptly at 1:00pm, is three (3) hours long and finishes at 4:00pm.
Each team must have a digital camera with video recording capabilities to participate in the event.
Deadline for registration is Tuesday 15th January, 2013.

Nutritional Education Displays
Mobile HIV Rapid Testing Unit
Aerobics and Cycling Burn Outs
Obstacle Course
Healthy food and drinks stalls
Other healthy activities for adults and children
Cultural Festival
The venue will come alive with live soca, calypso, steelpan, tassa and rhythm section music blasted throughout the event! Roving traditional carnival characters and carnival costume displays will also set the Carnival themed ambiance. There will also be registration for Mas and J’ouvert Bands.
Entry to the event is reasonably priced $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for children.
