#1 First things first, why did you get into rap? Any motivation or was it just a hobby to try it out?

 ILL PAYNE:
 #1 I got into rap when I first saw some guys free-styling in Arima. I was like "damn I got to learn how to do that..."

ME:
#2: Tell us about your life growing up, what school did you go, do your Parents, friends and Teachers Supported you?

ILL PAYNE:
 2# Grew up a real simple life nothing to special went to a private school but got expelled then went Arima Senior comprehensive Secondary school. Teachers considered me a menace, I never smoked or gamble or nothing else like 80% of the school but for some reason I seem to get in the most trouble all I did in school really was Rap & make money.


ME:
#3: how did you get the name "Ill Payne"? Is there a story behind it?

 ILL PAYNE:
 3# They use to call me just Payne before but as I started to rap I made it more original an added an "ILL" to it. The concept is every one feels Pain just like how I aim for everyone to feel my music, so I'm an "Ill Payne", there's no getting around it you got to feel me & my music some how!

#4: How long have you been rapping? Tell the fans about your accomplishments so far, the goals that you have achieved thus far in your Career?

 ILL PAYNE:
 4# Been rapping since 05 - 06 but started officially when I built my studio in 2008. I own my own record label & videography company, I'm a Sound engineer & part time producer , so I mix an master my own music. I've worked with International Award winning producer Trendsetter & a couple international acts who are doing pretty good for them-selves. I will not call there names until the tracks drop but when I say pretty good I mean they're on the billboards good. I also went a 12 round battle on Synergy TV I went as the name Punchline Guru so everyone who watched it already know what went down & the out come. If my accomplishments were published in Local Media, a lot of people will of been thinking I'm larger than life but what Ive done is just a drop in the Bucket there is a whole world out side of Trinidad if you all didn't know.

#5 Who is your Favorite Rapper/Hip-hop Artist and why?

 ILL PAYNE:
 5# Favorite Dead rapper will be Tupac besides being a great rapper he is one of the few who was willing to live every word he said .. Real "N*gga" right there. Favorite Living rapper will be THE PUNCHLINE GURU.

ME:
#6 Which Rapper would you Consider your Top 5 Rappers of all time?

ILL PAYNE:
 #6 Tupac , Notorious BIG, Big L, Eminem & Jay Z.

ME:
#7 As Some May say, Mainstream rap music has hit rock bottom, Underground has the better Rappers, what do you think about that?

ILL PAYNE:
 #7 Its very true, but does the underground make money? Underground rappers need to formulate a method where there underground style can be marketed to the masses, for eg. Kendric lamar, Tech N9NE & a couple others, watch and learn!

#8: Tell us about your new Album "Talk Of the Town" any collaborations with new rappers or any Artist that we know of?

ILL PAYNE:
 #8 Every artist thinks there the best thing in the world and a blessing to music ..you just might be but at the start you still need to master your craft good enough to a point where its good enough to push to the masses. Talk Of the Town is that project for me. Its all Original Concepts & Original beats Produced by Jaydotbeatz. Its not my first project but I consider it my first because I'm at that point where I Believe & know my music is on par with the international community, from the Lyrics to concepts to beats. I got collaborations with Local Hip Hop /R&B sensation Rapiny , Flipo & Dre Star a Jamaican Entertainer he sang on the track named S.O.C.A.

#9: Where do you see yourself in 10 years??

 ILL PAYNE:
#9 I can't predict the future but you can make a guess & due to the work I'm putting in I see my self Rich ... Sabga Rich ... did I spell his name right?

#10: Tell us about your Hobbies, what do you do when your bored? Freestyle? Write songs or just lime?
