Dj Floops Biography

Around August 2010, a group of co-workers were jabbing at a local watering hole in Marabella. They often would remark that "This club would really be a hit if we could get some quality music up in this place!”. However, no one in the crew could play music.
One individual had a fair knowledge of the differing genres of music rose to the occasion. Though he could barely use Virtual Dj, he managed to play in a Heineken promoted After Work Lime for 9 hours straight.
The people danced away and many of them remarked that he should pursue this art of disc jockeying vehemently. Hence, Dj Floops was born.
His uncanny knack of playing any style of music to please the crowd made him an instant
Hit. His ascension allowed him to play alongside Kes of Kes the band in a Sweet 16 house party in Orchard Gardens, Chaguanas in the first year of his career.
Hoping to refine his knowledge of Serato Itch and Scratch Live, Floops enrolled in the Studio001 Media Academy under the tutelage of the veteran Dj and media personality Richard Balgobin better known as Madman Richard. There he graduated in the top of his class.
Dj Floops has incorporated a small team of dedicated entertainment personnel into the entity named Floops Sound Productions. This entity went on to book events such as weddings, house parties, company functions, fetes, reunions. Floops is developing a brand that is easily recognizable and synonymous with quality and professionalism.
