Intervention FAIL!!

Instead of getting Lindsay Lohan to admit she has a problem, her daddy, Michael Lohan, and the other people that show's up to Lindsay's El Lay home Friday got sent away by the po-po!

Apparently LiLo came home to find her Pa and the rest of the intervention gang waiting to have a little heart-to-heart chitty-chat, but she was so not down. According to our source, her "boyfriend" (who?) instantly kicked everyone out of her pad.

Outside daddy Lohan told reporters he was just trying to get his wittle gurl to seek treatment, saying:

"All we want is to talk some sense into her and get her some help. She's around the all the wrong people and it's getting worse and worse. Her entire team — her manager, her publicist, her lawyer — are all in the same place [as Mike is], they wan't to do something to get her help. She's just very resistant."

He sited Lindsay ditching work Thursday — without even calling in with a reason — as evidence that her addictions have taken over her life.

Of course, Lady Linds is NOT having that!

The actress' "boyfriend" told our source that "any problems Lindsay has will not be solved by her father."

Then she called the cops and reported her father and his gang had trespassed on her property.

Ouch!

Nice try Mike, but this intervention is too little too late!
