Oh, thank GOODNESS!

We were positively CRUSHED earlier this summer when we discovered that Jim Carrey had dropped out of a proposed Dumber and Dumber To over conflicts with New Line and Warner Brothers, with co-starJeff Daniels even confirming it to be true!

But now, the actor, currently starring on Newsroom, has revealed that whatever problems there were have been worked out, and production of the Farrelly Brothers-directed sequel is back on!

He says:

"We almost were able to kinda get it done this year, but they're still working on the script. Jim wants to do it, I want to do it, the Farrellys want to do it. We're all hoping that it'll come together early next year."

YES! YES! YES!

Now please - do not tug at our heartstrings any further with this back and forth silliness!

We NEED to know that this is definitely happening!

18 years is TOO long without Harry and Lloyd!

And yes, we're purposely ignoring that atrocious prequel movie! Ha!
