Roderick 'Mr. Chucky' Gordon is Trinidad and Tobago's Independence Calypso Monarch of 2012. The competition was staged on Saturday night at the Queen's Park Savannah. Chucky, a mainstay to many of T&T's cultural competitions stole the show with his winning performance of a track entitled, Bear With Me as Trinidad and Tobago prepares to celebrate 50 years of Independence on Friday. Gordon walks away with the grand prize of $.5million.
