Batman Comic Postponed Because It Features A Teacher Pointing Gun At Students
DC Entertainment decided to postpone the release of Batman Incorporated #3 in wake of the shootings in Aurora, Colorado and now we know why.
An email to comic book retailers said the issue "contains content that may be perceived as insensitive in light of recent events."
It turns out that the insensitive content includes a teacher pulling a gun on a classroom full of kids.
Yikes! That probably wouldn't have went over well. In fact, we're sure critics would have had a field day had the issue hit the shelf as planned.
We're glad that the company had the sense to delay the release by a month, but wonder if the shocking content will have the public asking for a permanent delay.
Do U think that DC should edit the comic, much like Warner Bros. is reshooting Gangster Squad?
