The Amazing Spider-Man Final Scene Explained?

SPOILER ALERT!

You have been warned... yet for those of you who have already seen the movie, we have the answer to the biggest burning question scorching your mind since you left the theater.

The Amazing Spider-Man follows in fine Marvel Movie fashion by ending with a surprise mid-credits scene. Lizard Curt Connors, sitting in prison, has a brief conversation with... we have no idea!

Thank goodness we have director Marc Webb to tell us exactly what it means. He says:

"It's intentionally mysterious. And I invite speculation."

...excuse you? WTF?! That's not an answer at all. THAT'S JUST ANOTHER TEASE!!!

As far as fans are concerned, the most likely identity of the mystery man is Norman Osborn, otherwise known as the villainous Green Goblin! Webb says about Osborn:

"Well, Norman Osborn, if you think about the universe of Spider-Man, he plays a huge role... every crazy thing in this universe somehow relates to Oscorp."

What kind of a straight answer is that?! Thanks a lot, Mysterio!
