Selena Gomez's Facebook Hacker Gets Locked Up!
Remember back in 2011 when Selena Gomez's Twitter and Facebook accounts were taken over by a hacker, who wrote things like "Justin Bieber sucks"...???
The hacker, Gareth Crosskey, who was foolish enough to post a VIDEO of himself bragging about his hacking skillz, was finally caught after the FBI and Britain's Metropolitan Police tracked him down!
After spending $79,130 on the investigation, Gareth admitted to the computer crime earlier this month and has been sentenced to one year in prison!
Judge John Price, who sentenced Gareth, told him:
"You are clever with a computer and you hacked into the private part of somebody's Facebook account. Selena Gomez had a Facebook account on which she has six million friends. They have permission to get into part of the account and you hacked into a private part by getting the email password."
Gareth had claimed to have gotten his hands on some personal exchanges between Selenita and the Biebs, and also between her and Demi Lovato!
Wonder what juicy deets those messages held???
We kid, we kid! (kind of!!) Of course, we're glad the hacker has been punished for his actions!
