She's not falling into ANY traps!

Last night Michelle Obama appeared on The Daily Show to push her new book, American Grown -- but Jon Stewart wanted to chat about pot! Why not??

Jon told The First Lady that he recently read a book that describes Barack Obama's youth as "something out of Cheech and Chong movie."

The host asked Michelle if Barry still had a few roaches laying around the White House.

She explained that her husbster stopped smoking weed back in high school when his father died.

Michelle told Jon:

"When he lost his father, that was one of those click-in moments. And he really buckled down, he transferred schools, went to Columbia and thought about how to use life to the fullest."

As far as her smoking, or another pot related questions, she told Stewart "I'm not taking any bait!" LOL!
