Christopher Nolan Knew The Ending To The Dark Knight Rises Before Batman Begins!

Christopher Nolan gave fans a chance to watch the first few minutes of The Dark Knight Rises last December in IMAX theaters, but it sounds like the LAST few minutes are going to blow us away.

It turns out that the director knew the ending to his Batman trilogy before he even began filming Batman Begins.

Screenwriter David S. Goyer revealed in a recent interview that the last scene in the upcoming movie is one he and Nolan envisioned YEARS ago, explaining:

"The final scene of The Dark Knight Rises is exactly [the] scene we talked about [when Christopher Nolan and I started the trilogy with Batman Begins]. It remained completely unchanged. We both knew in our hearts that we were onto something special. I have to tell you, having finally seen everything strung together a little while ago and seeing that scene, I got a complete lump in my throat."

There have been rumors that Nolan MIGHT have the ballz to kill off Bruce Wayne at the end of the trilogy, which would certainly cause "a complete lump" in our throats. However, Christian Bale has already said he'd consider doing a fourth film if his fearless director was on board too.

Hmm...whatever is going down in that last scene, we don't think it's Batman's dead body.

What would U like to see happen at the end of The Dark Knight Rises?
