Carnival time in Grenada
Titans of music Gardiner and Razor recently showed Grenada why the DJ outfit call themselves the Art of Entertainment. It all went down when they took the second edition of the Full Joy Yuhself concept party from Trincity—where it was hosted for Carnival 2012—to the Grenadian people. The event lived up to the saying "Vibes Cyah Done".
Club Bananas, the most prominent club on the island, was the chosen venue and the jamming started on Friday with Titan and guest techno, trance and world music queen Jess graced the stage. There were as many people outside the club as inside. And that was just the preview of what was to come that weekend.
Dressed fashionably chic in heels, party dresses and clutches, the ladies on Saturday night were dressed to "empress". Club Bananas was transformed into Party Central. Titan and the crew took the stage at 2 a.m. with a full-sized Trinidad and Tobago flag draped upon their DJ console.
University students, having recently completed their exams, flocked to stage side.
Kerry D Drummer was a hit and played everything from soca to hip hop in unison with Titan.
As the Carnival season was drawing close in Grenada, Titan took the opportunity to launch a section.
The night also saw the band launch of Summer Crew's presentation for 2012 Armageddon: The End of Times. Models graced the stage in all their splendour and did not disappoint those present.
The vibes showed no sign of ending any time soon even at 5.30 Sunday morning.
That left just enough time to grab breakfast and then head out to the daytime boat ride party on the Caribbean's famous Rum Runner—a catamaran transformed into party boat.
Filled to capacity the boat rocked with the music of DJ Titan while Kerry D Drummer had everyone "full joying" themselves.
