Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. November 6, 2011----------Shurwayne Winchester has given party lovers another hit single amid anticipation for his third anniversary celebration. On Sunday, November 6, Shurwayne sounded the carnival warning from his SW Limited camp in Arima, Trinidad. His fifth release for the season, Wining Addict follows on the heels of the very sexy, Wine On It, which dropped in late August.

Monday’s official release of the new single follows anniversary celebrations at SW Limited in Arima on Sunday where a host of industry associates were invited to gather to celebrate the recent past, and get a taste of what’s to come from the band ahead of C2K12. Shurwayne’s been riding high in recent weeks with each of his singles receiving the love of soca fanatics. In August, Shurwayne showed that he was quite capable of riding a dancehall riddim with artistes like Beenie Man, Mavado and Busy Signal among others. His track, Wine On It, has been at the top of the list of soca releases for next year and everyone seems to agree that the single is deserving of the attention it’s been receiving.

This year’s anniversary celebration comes in two parts with the first on Sunday being strictly by invitation affair. The second celebration will cater to supporters of Shurwayne Winchester and Y.O.U.- and certainly fans of soca music. The date for the second celebration will be announced in the days ahead but according to the team at SW Limited, fans and supporters are in store for a night of pure vibes in the not too distant future. For Sunday’s event though, the soca hit-maker invited friends and partners in the soca biz to his ‘music house’, this amid the buzz of anticipation surrounding the Wining Addict release.
It was only last week that word broke that Shurwayne would be looking for a female to be the leading lady in the video for the track. Specifically requesting that more than just being a sexy woman, interested ladies must have a love for Soca to be considered, Shurwayne said, “ The video will surround the chosen lady. It’ll be about her love for soca and her immediate reaction to hearing the music.”
“ I have a crew from Miami coming in to shoot this one soon so I really want some female soca lovers to send me some footage of what they can do.”

Interested ladies have been asked to post the videos of themselves dancing to one of Shurwayne’s tracks on his Facebook fan page and also email the footage to swlimited@gmail.com with their name and contact information. He said he wanted his supporters and soca lovers in general, to be more inclined to get involved in the happenings of
the vibe he continues to create for them especially. “ I want people to really get who Shurwayne Winchester is… not by what they see on stage, but the real me- behind the scenes at video shoots and even on set when we’re clowning around,” he laughed.

The new single was produced by SW Limited’s very own Alton Bertie and it was written by Shurwayne himself. “ It’s just one of those songs I know the ladies will go crazy with. This season the women will have a time- I guarantee it,” he said with a hint of mischief. These days, Shurwayne Winchester is definitely surprising many with unexpected vocal outbursts. With that, you just never know what he has in store for the feting public in the weeks ahead.
