My Team Events hosted its second Scavenger Hunt for this year called City Hunters on Sunday 9 th September.

The event allowed 35 participants to experience the City of Port of Spain like they never did before! The teams

solved clues and performed tasks on foot around the capital city. The clues were challenging, exciting and

based on the rich history of the city and aspects of Trinbagonian culture, while others engaged the general

public that was in Port of Spain at the time.

The event was a day of enjoyment for all the participants, many of whom were participating in a Scavenger

Hunt for the first time. Each team did their best to unravel the 44 clues given but one team stood out from

the pack. The Last Band Standing team won the $2,500.00 cash prize and trophies with the Sherlock Holmboys

and the Nancy Clues team coming in second and the Carnival Tabanca Crew placing third winning medals and

other sponsored prizes. There were also prizes for Best Teamed Team which the Sherlock Holmboys and the

Nancy Clues also won.

A special feature of the event was the participation of an Artistes and Athletes team made up of rising stars

in local music and sport that featured Erphaan Alves, Zakiya Gill, K Rich, Ayana Dyette, Sean Morrison, Fede

and Muhammad Muwakil. City Hunters also managed to gain a great amount of buzz around Port of Spain as

onlookers inquisitively watched and even assisted teams as they attempted to solve the clues and tasks given

to them.

Richard De Silva from the Road Termites team summed up the event quite nicely "This was the first Scavenger

Hunt I've ever participated in and it was one of the best times of my life. Just searching for the answers was

half the fun, taking all the pictures, trying to do some crazy things on videos and then seeing the excitement

on my teammate's faces was what made the day memorable. Although we didn't win, the day was all in all fun

and worth every minute of it."

My Team Events' Passion Statement is "To turn unique concepts and ideas into themed team events that are

fun, memorable and euphoric." City Hunters certainly achieved that goal by mixing the spirit of competition

with fun in a local setting and by doing so creating a satisfying experience for all participants.
