Playboy Model Blasted By Deadmau5 For Tasteless Aurora Gunman Joke

A few human beings will do absolutely anything to make a headline.

And its really so, so sad. Because being compassionate isn't as rewarding as being famous for 15 seconds.

Playboy model and self-proclaimed "controversial Tweeter" Tricia Evans made this lame and insensitive joke on Friday:
>
> I heard the new Batman movie is really "to die for"! 😜 Too soon?
>
> — Tricia Evans (@HollywoodTricia) July 20, 2012

Sad, sad, sad.

Tricia, you aren't being edgy or insightful. You're certainly not being humorous.

Your callously offensive Twitter remarks come across as a desperate plea for attention.

Thankfully, critically adored DJ deadmau5 was quickly on the case.

He immediately responded:
>
> good to know. @HollywoodTricia i seriously had no idea how big of a piece of shit you are. unfollowed.
>
> — deadmau5 (@deadmau5) July 20, 2012

We know deadmau5 makes a habit out of twit-sparring, but we appreciate him for it.

People hide behind the internet like it were a shield. They use it as an excuse to make wild proclamations they would never have the courage to say in a real life public forum.

deadmau5, for one, had no intention of letting this model get away with making stupid remarks.

While this may not change Tricia's opinion of her own behavior, it is to see social media policing itself.
