It's that time of the year again when people who
crave back in times parties look forward to one of
their favourite dance events. Tomorrow all roads
lead to the De Nu Pub, Woodbrook, as Victoria's
and the Goodmen Crew host the 14th annual
Lady in White back in times party. According to
promoter Richard Purcell: "This is an annual event
and is normally held around Mother's Day to pay
tribute to all mothers prior to the hectic Mother's
Day weekend. "This event caters to back in times
enthusiast and party lovers in general who need
some time out to release their stress and dance
the night away.
"Ladies normally dress in their best white outfits
since the dress code for the night is white attire.
The male patrons on the other hand make a
special effort to match the ladies by dressing
elegantly casual. Party lovers from all walks of life
and many ballroom dancers and back in time
enthusiast usually make this their choice event
annually." Music from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and
some current hits, will be played to keep patrons
dancing all night long. Other types of dance
music, such as Latin, soca, chutney,
contemporary and calypso will also be played.
Music will be supplied this year by DJs Cutting
Crew and Special Delivery, who have proven to be
two of the best jocks in the land.
This is DJ Cutting Crew's first anniversary at this
annual affair and he has promised to keep the
party pumping. Special Delivery on the other
hand knows the vibes of the Victoria's party
crowd and will literally dig deep into his collection
to step up the tempo and wet the real party
lovers at this event. All systems are in place for a
great night of real partying, which is the only way
Victoria's and the Goodmen Crew know how to do
it. The venue will be equipped with a well stocked
bar and an adequate amount of items to munch
on.
The action starts at 9 pm and ends at 4 am.
Admission is reasonably priced with members and
holders of invites enjoying special discounts before
10 and 11 pm.
All members of Victoria's and the Goodmen
Crew are asked to present their membership
cards on entry.
